英国の一部地域ではバス停や駅、その他の公共の場所にたむろする若者を追い払うためにクラシック音楽を流しているとのこと。若者は「クラシックが流れるところでたむろすることは格好悪い」と考えるのか、その効果はバツグンという。壁などへのグラフィティに悩む地域でクラシックを流したところ、その被害が減ったという事例もあるそうだ。
